Tech Cards
All tech cards must be filled out completely and turned in at the bottom of the tower in the tech card box. Incomplete tech cards will not be accepted. All entries must pass through tech before they will be allowed to make any runs. Vehicles found to have minor safety infractions will be allowed to compete on that night with a warning to fix the problem within a time period specified by the tech official.

Rain-Outs
There will be NO CASH REFUNDS. In the event of a rain out, blackout, or any other problem that prevents the completion of a race, your rain check will be honored for the remainder of the season. Any variation to this policy must be pre-approved by management/owner. If two complete rounds of eliminations have been completed, the race will be considered a finished race, and the prize money will be divided among those racers left in competition. Muncie Dragway points will be awarded according to individual round wins.

EXAMPLE: The 3rd round is started with 20 cars in the bracket. After 3 pairs (6 cars) race, the rain comes. All racers left in competition, including the three racers who lost in that round will split the prize money equally.

Alcohol
THIS IS A ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY. No driver of a car in competition is to consume any alcoholic beverage. Any driver found to be doing so will be disqualified and points and winnings forfeited and may have further suspension at owner discretion. NO GLASS BOTTLES ARE ALLOWED AT ANY TIME.

Children
Children are the responsibility of parents/adults and should remain under close supervision. No children under the age of 16 will be allowed to operate any vehicle, tow vehicle in the pits UNLESS they are driving a Junior Dragster. We will also be enforcing no bicycles, scooters, etc. operated by children. This is for the safety of our children first. ANY VEHICLE BEING OPERATED BY AN UNLICENSED DRIVER WILL BE SUBJECT TO IMPOUND BY TRACK OWNER.

Gold Cards
Gold cards are to be used for a regular Saturday points program and Super Saturday points program. On special events, Gold cards are accepted for face value for the event.

Dial for Dollars
During the last time run for the day we will have a “dial for dollars.” $5 to enter.
The winner receives half the purse and the runner up will be the first round wait and see bye run.

Unlimited Quick 8
There are 2 different classes that consist of 8 door cars and 8 dragsters. All non-qualifying competitors will fall over into the top (box/super pro) class. No entries will be sold after the beginning of the 2nd qualifying session. If you are eliminated 1st round you may buy back into the 2nd round of top class. These events will have 2 qualifying sessions and be placed on a sportsman ladder. If a qualified competitor cannot make the class call, an alternate will be put in. The ladder does not change if an alternate is put into competition.

Bye Runs
First round is drawn in the tower or by dial in for dollars winner. Following 1st round, the best reaction time will be setting on the possible bye run. If 2 competitors have the same light, the competitor who went down the track first will receive the possible bye. Bye runs carry over.

Staging
“Auto start” will be used in all classes during an event. Once both cars are pre-staged and the 1st car stages, the 2nd car has 10 seconds to stage before the tree automatically fires. If the 2nd car fails to stage it will be “timed out” and the red bulb will come on.

Deep Staging
Top Et – Allowed but tree will not be held, racers responsibility
Modified – Allowed but tree will not be held, racers responsibility
Sportsman and Junior- Tree will be held

Red Light
If a driver has a foul start the competitor automatically wins that round. If the opposing driver crosses the centerline or hits the guardrail, the driver that had the foul start would be reinstated.

Reruns
All runs will stand, except interruptions caused by electrical failure or weather. If it is money round, the rerun will be up to the track owner/operator. Dial in and lane choice will not change in a rerun.

Refunds
There will be no refund of the car & crew at any event. A credit will be given if an entry breaks before going down the track that day. A credit will be given with a $10 spectator fee taken out.

Dial – Ins
The driver is responsible for the accuracy of their dial in. All dials in must be clearly visible for the tower personnel to see. Once you have staged, that means you accepted your dial in.

Buy Backs
Buy backs 1st round only unless stated otherwise by track management. Buy Backs will return to the lanes with their class.  If there is a “big money event” that buy back procedures may change and will be stated before the event.

General Rule
Start times and the number of time runs for the event can be changed due to circumstances. All rules stated above are subject to change under the power of the track owner/operator.
